When Franklins approached me I knew it was going to be an exciting project. Firstly I had to to create individual artwork for their fast paced bar/café downstairs, secondly artwork that had a more classic approach to suit its architecture and surroundings, for evening dining in their restaurant.

The project came into its own as I discussed possibilities with the owners. Birmingham was their home town, and they had just moved south to start their new business. What better material to engage customers into their refurbished surroundings, and meet the new owners.

Made to measure artwork was created throughout using images shot by the owners which I crafted into a sepia photographic scheme.
Photographic canvases, individually box framed in oak were created to sit within the panelled walls of the restaurant.
